Deliah (“Dee”) Lawrence is a Maryland-based attorney, and award-winning author of two romantic suspense novels (Gotta Let It Go and Gotta Get It Back). She’s also a blogger and workshop facilitator who writes poetry and short stories. Her short stories have been featured in the Creatures, Crimes and Creativity 2013, 2014 and 2018 anthologies. Most recently, she won the Best of Contest prize in Reading Works' Second Annual Short Short Story contest for her story entitled, Migration and Back.
When Dee isn’t writing, you can find her reading a book, indulging in her addiction to investigation discovery shows or painting her yet-to-be exhibited oil artworks of landscapes, portraits or whatever else comes to her creative mind. Constantly on the go, Dee is also an active member of the Maryland Writers’ Association, Black Writers’ Guild of Maryland, Sisters in Crime and Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance.
She is currently working on the third installment of her romantic suspense series entitled, Gotta Have It All.
